Product Questions

All of the products we supply are curly hair friendly, unless otherwise stated by Trish.

The haircare products Hello Curl retail are safe to use when pregnant or breastfeeding but please do talk to your doctor first if you have any concerns.
Absolutely! All our hair care products are safe and effective for children of all ages. Checkout our lil peeps range.
Hello Curl recommends that everyone should shampoo their hair once in a while. If you have extremely dry hair or your curls are type 4, Trish recommends using a co-wash or cleanser. Co-wash and Cleansers have non foaming property so it feels like you are washing with conditioner its quite normal to feel like you haven’t “washed” your hair.
This is very common. Checkout our facebook community for tutorials, tips and tricks. There is a heap of video’s for you specific curl type. You can watch and learn from these brilliant videos.
Why do you recommend ones from Hello Curl?Many hair products have nasties in them that weigh down curls and dry them out. Silicones, alcohols, oils and sulphates are very well hidden in products… They use names we have never heard of. Trish researches the be-jingos out of all her products and only recommends the products she uses in her salon on real humans. She knows they work and curls LOVE THEM!

Hello Curl Method

This website & Facebook community is designed to help wavy, curlies, kinky swirlies to embrace and love their hair and Trish will teach you all the in’s and out’s. You’ve got this!.
If you have permanently straightened your hair, you will need to grow out this straightened hair or cut it off and start fresh. Keratin relaxing can take up to 12 months to fully leave your hair, and sometimes you may need to cut the hair.

Straightening with hot tools such as hairdryers/ irons can hair terrible effects on the hair and CAN take up to 6 months to re-train the hair to curl.
Well, yes you can however, doing this will confuse your hair. It can take up to a month to get your curls back to optimum condition, even after 1 blowdry. SOOO, try and avoid it friends.
I’m a bearer of bad news. To tame your fuzz, some products will need to be used. However, take a minute to check out our eduction videos, you may find that your product application and how you finish your hair will make all the difference.
Eek, let’s loose the oil, my friend. Some oils actually stop the products from penetrating your hair. Give the oils a miss and follow the Hello Curl Routine and you will be AMAZED how brilliant your hair can be.

Express Shipping typically takes 1-3 days.

Express Shipping orders placed before 2pm Melbourne time and delivering to metro areas will typically arrive the next business day.

Express Shipping orders to Western Australia and regional areas will typically arrive within 2-3 business days. For more precise Express Post delivery time estimates to your location just enter our Traralgon 3844 postcode and then your postcode where prompted on this Australia Post delivery estimates page.
All orders ship from Regional Victoria. Orders placed before 3pm Melbourne time will be shipped that working day.

Please note that Hello Curl cannot accept responsibility for lost or stolen parcels after the carrier has delivered the parcel.

Refund & Returns

To return an item, please email customer service at info@hellocurlcom.au to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number.

After receiving a RMA number, place the item securely in its original packaging and include: proof of purchase, return form, and mail your return to the following address:Hello Curl (Attn: Refunds & Returns) RMA # 29-31 Church Street Arcade, Traralgon, Victoria, 3844

Please note, you will be responsible for all return shipping charges. We strongly recommend that you use a trackable method to mail your return.
All returns must be postmarked within seven (7) days of the purchase date. All returned items must be in new and unused condition, with all original tags and labels attached.
After receiving your return and inspecting the condition of your item, we will process your return or exchange. Please allow at least seven (7-14) days from the receipt of your item to process your return or exchange. We will notify you by email when your return has been processed.
For defective or damaged products, please contact us at the customer service email below to arrange a refund or exchange.
If the purchaser considers the goods received to be faulty, the purchaser is to ship them back to Hello Curl at their expense. If the fault is found to be genuine these postage costs will be refunded in full and either a refund or exchange goods will be sent at no further cost. Alternatively, if the product is determined not to be faulty there will be an additional charge incurred to return the goods to you.
Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other foreseeable loss or damage.

You are also entitled to have the products repaired or replaced if the products fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

You may return products to us if you consider that they are damaged or faulty, or if they otherwise fail to comply with any consumer guarantee under Australian Consumer Law.

Please email us at info@hellocurl.com.au and provide us with the following information: (a) the order number; (b) a photograph of the products, which identifies the fault/s (if relevant); and (c) a description of the products and any fault/s.

If we are satisfied that the products are damaged or faulty, or if they otherwise fail to comply with any consumer guarantee under Australian Consumer Law, we will send a returns form to the email address which you provided with the order.

Please complete the returns form and send it back to us, along with the relevant products, via a trackable postal or courier service. Please return the relevant products to us within 28 days from the date on which you received them.

We will be responsible for return postage costs of any return postage if your products do not comply with a consumer guarantee. In accordance with Australian Consumer Law, you will be provided with a replacement, or a full refund, for the products.

Please note that we do not offer refunds on orders for change of mind.

Recycling

The cartons we use are biodegradable and recyclable. They are made of approx. 75% recycled board. At this stage, using 100% recycled board would compromise the strength of the carton.

Disposal
Please place them in your regular recycling bin.

General Information

All prices shown on the Hello Curl online store are in Australian dollars (AUD). All payments are billed in AUD. Currency conversions are set by the payment gateway. All prices are inclusive of GST for Australian customers.
